This was the best rental property my guests and I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had amazing appliances and was stocked with spices and plenty of dishes/plates/utensils. Each bedroom had a clean, beautifully designed bathroom with shower toiletries, hair driers, and robes (!!) provided. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. We loved the sauna and the outdoor space with the fire pit. Will be booking this again and recommending to everyone I know.

Fantastic property!! This was the most amazing rental property any of our family have ever stayed at! Cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were great. We hosted a small family dinner for our elopement and the main level was the most amazing space for hosting. We had a chef come cook us a meal and she said it was one of the best kitchens she had ever cooked in! We hope to come back again one day.

We were absolutely blown away with this property! It looks exactly like the pictures, the amenities are new, in excellent condition and everything worked flawlessly due to the communication efforts and instructional videos. The Location
Situated in the heart of downtown Breckenridge, the home offers a perfect fusion of city convenience in a mountain retreat. Within a mere block, you’ll find an array of restaurants, boutique shopping, and local parks. The Breck Connect Gondola is three blocks away and walkable from the house, which will take you directly to the base of Peak 7 or Peak 8. Conversely, there are two bus stops directly behind and adjacent to The Historic Brown that will take you to the base of your preferred peak or across town.
The Amenities
The Historic Brown boasts a range of modern conveniences that elevate your stay: With a commercial elevator connecting all three levels, accessibility is seamlessly integrated into the design. Within the spacious interior, the in-floor heating system ensures warmth and comfort at every step, with individual room controls catering to individual preferences. Indulge in the indoor sauna and steam room that helps you unwind and rejuvenate after a day on the slopes. For ultimate relaxation, step outside to the inviting outdoor hot tub, accommodating up to eight people, where you can soak in the view of Baldy Mountain from the backyard.
The Great Room & Kitchen
The Great Room includes multiple seating arrangements to invite dining, chess, poker, puzzles and/or simple relaxation in front of the TV. The Historic Brown boasts a well-appointed kitchen with an impressive array of amenities. The chef’s kitchen features an 8-burner gas stove, a traditional oven, and a dedicated rotisserie oven. The functionality is elevated further with wine storage, a double dishwasher, an oversized fridge/freezer, a pebble ice machine, and a luxury espresso machine. The design extends to a designated office area, complete with office amenities, allowing for seamless remote work.
Five Bedrooms and En-Suite Bathrooms
The property boasts five beautifully designed bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style for an unforgettable stay. As you move into the second floor by the custom staircase or the commercial elevator, you’ll immediately be captivated by the distinct character of each bedroom. The use of vibrant colors and intricate patterns makes every room a work of art in its own right. The focal point of each bedroom is the king-sized bed, promising a peaceful night’s rest. For your convenience, a Smart TV, dresser, and closet are provided in each room, allowing you to unpack and settle in comfortably.

Located on the lower level of the Historic Barn, this space is the ultimate retreat for guests seeking a blend of leisure, excitement, and relaxation. As you step into the recreation room, you are welcomed by an oversized, inviting couch. Challenge your friends or family to a game of shuffleboard, foosball or to one of the classic arcade games. Equipped with a movie projection screen, it is also the perfect place for a cinematic experience. The versatility of the recreation room doesn’t stop at its entertainment options; it also serves as the entrance to the spa area. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the charming historical elements, it’s an enchanting spot for breakfast in the sun or a candlelit dinner under the stars. A horse trough, clothesline, bench platform, and fenceposts, all dating back to the late 1800s, are carefully preserved reminders of the past, adding a touch of nostalgia and character to the landscape.
